Mams Gallery is based in the front studio here at Eastcott Studios and is open Mon-Sat 11am - 3pm.
Experienced, professional artist Emma Amini runs the gallery creating a relaxed, informal setting where art is both exhibited and created. Original artwork is also for sale.
Through a series of creative arts workshops Mams Gallery help individuals and groups to develop their skills and explore different media, styles and techniques. Workshops include Life Drawing/Sculpting, Sequential Art and Multi Media Art all at beginners through to experienced/improvers levels.
You can join a workshop, arrange individual tuition, or just pop in for a chat and to view art in progress or finished works. Mams offers specialist art materials and provides support services for artists just starting out exhibiting their work offering services to curate shows, print quality brochures and compile tailored guest lists for private views and opening nights.
Mams recognise the benefits of using Therapeutic Arts practices to promote a Positive, Mental Attitude & improve overall well-being. At Mams Gallery we use specific Therapeutic Art practices to develop coping strategies that will support a more Positive Mental Attitude (PMA). The process of creating art releases creative energy and allows for discussion about the thoughts, feelings and emotions that have inspired us to create.
Please contact Emma at Mams Gallery for further details if you believe these workshops may be of interest. Emma can discuss content and cost with substantial discounts for group bookings.
